Since 2014, we have worked directly with Jordanian communities to transform conflict into lasting peace, empower groups most vulnerable to abuse, strengthen local governance and defend human rights — grounded in evidence, partnership and rapid response.
Who We Are
Land of Peace Center for Development and Human Rights was founded in 2014 by a group of ambitious young Jordanians with deep roots in the development field. What began as a response to gaps in community peacebuilding and gender-based-violence prevention has grown into a qualified, field-tested team working across Jordan. We intervene directly, respond rapidly to community needs, and build every program on evidence, participation and continuity — guided by our Strategic Plan for 2024–2027 and grounded firmly in the Jordanian context.

Monitoring violations, legal literacy and protection for vulnerable groups.
